In order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, please keep a child home if he or she has:

• a runny nose, sneezing and coughing

• a red sore throat

• an earache

• unexplained skin rashes

• pink eyes

• headache

• fever during the past 24 hours

• vomiting or diarrhea during the past 24 hours

Please exercise consideration for others when deciding whether to send your child to school. Remember, a child who is ill will not function well in class anyway.
