This group recognizes juniors and seniors who demonstrate academic excellence in the field of social studies and a passion for historical inquiry.

Members engage in enrichment activities to cultivate their interests.

Students may apply for the Social Studies Honor Society at the end of the first semester of their junior year. Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA overall and a 3.75 GPA in Social Studies courses. Students inducted in the Spring of their junior year must take a Social Studies elective in their senior year to remain active in the organization. See Ms. Hayek or Mr. Bonafede for more information.
